Resignation of Director

Hong Kong, - The Board of Directors (the 'Board') of China Mobile Limited (the 'Company') announces that due to work re-arrangement within the Company and its subsidiaries (the 'Group'), Mr. Xu Long ('Mr. Xu') has resigned from his position as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 14 December 2012. Mr. Xu will remain as the Chairman and President of China Mobile Group Guangdong Company Limited. Mr. Xu has confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company. The Board takes this opportunity to acknowledge Mr. Xu's contribution to the Company in his capacity as an Executive Director with the highest regard and deepest gratitude, and believes that Mr. Xu will continue to make valuable contribution to the development of the Group.

As at the date of this announcement, the Board of Directors of the Company comprises Mr. Xi Guohua, Mr. Li Yue, Mr. Xue Taohai, Madam Huang Wenlin, Mr. Sha Yuejia and Mr. Liu Aili as executive directors, Dr. Lo Ka Shui, Mr. Frank Wong Kwong Shing and Dr. Moses Cheng Mo Chi as independent non-executive directors.
