'Run, Walk and Roll is an amazing concept. It's a community getting together around a common goal,' said Hastick-Cowell. 'Regardless of age, ethnicity or ability, whether you run, walk or roll, you can have an amazing day at this event, all for a great cause.'

The event takes participants across Queen St. (closed for the morning) and through scenic Chinguacousy Park in Brampton.

Run, Walk and Roll offers fun for the whole family. The day features a 1k Kid's Course, a Halloween costume contest (for kids and adults), prizes and much more. Participants will love the Party Zone, located at 10 Peel Centre Dr., (across from the Bramalea City Centre), featuring music and entertainment.

The third annual Run, Walk and Roll is hosted by the Region of Peel United Way Employee Campaign. All proceeds from the event benefit the United Way of Peel Region to help support lasting change in the region.

"Run, Walk and Roll is the perfect event for athletes of all skill levels," says Gagan Buttar, Co-Chair of the Region of Peel 2012 United Way Employee Campaign. 'This professionally chip timed run has become a beloved annual event for runners, walkers and rollers from across the GTA.'

'The United Way is an incredible organization,' says Hastick-Cowell. 'It's easy to forget that people need help, even in our own backyard. By supporting a variety of agencies that provide that help, United Way is able to have a huge impact on our community.'
