Dr. Baase was recognized for her longstanding contributions to the field of health and productivity on a global basis. She has driven a global program at Dow that includes detailed metrics and continuous health improvement, and is regarded as one of the nation's top experts, paving the way and providing a model for others to follow.

In combination with her role at Dow, Dr. Baase is active in a number of associations that underscore a shared interest in building healthy communities. She serves as chair for the Board of Directors of the Michigan Health Information Alliance (MiHIA), Inc. She is also active with the Partnership for Prevention, the Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative and the ACOEM Health and Productivity Committee.

Earlier this year, Dr. Baase was honored with the 2012 President's Award from the Institute for Health and Productivity Management (IHPM). The IHPM was created in 1997 to establish the full value of employee health as an investment in workplace productivity and business performance. Dr. Baase was recognized for her outstanding leadership and innovation in this field.
