BASKING RIDGE, NJ – Avaya today announced that industry analyst firm, IDC , named Avaya the leader in the IDC MarketScape competitive analysis report on Worldwide Mobile Unified Communications (UC) and Collaboration for 2012.

The report examines key players in the worldwide market, analyzing current capabilities as well as longer term strategies for serving their customers and grow market share. Avaya was placed in the leading position ahead of all other major vendors evaluated for both current capabilities and future alignment to customer needs.
