Vancouver, March 2, 2012—Passport Medical, announced today that their president, Mark Semple, authored an article on medical tourism that recently appeared in the Medical Tourism Magazine.
 
The magazine, published by the Medical Tourism Association, contained the article 'Medical Tourism Facilitators' in their January 2012 issue. The article was created by Semple to provide clarity in the field. With the large number of medical travel companies available around the world today, the need for a clean and easy to understand view of the medical tourism field was clear.
 
Because it is still an emerging field, clarity and transparency is very important to those in the business of providing access to facilities and healthcare providers around the world. For most people, the thought of arranging for and scheduling a medical procedure in their own country is a daunting task. Add an overseas journey and unfamiliarity with a foreign culture and it can be almost terrifying.
