Fri, 10 Feb 2012 11:56:17 EST Conyers (GA) - Rockdale County Clerk of Courts Ruth A. Wilson will seek election to a second term as Clerk of Superior and State Courts for the Rockdale Judicial Circuit. Wilson was first elected in 2008. Nearing the end of her first term, the Clerk of Courts has been heard to say that she welcomes the opportunity to share with the public the good news about her Office, her staff and the significant accomplishments they have produced.
Wilson wants to dispel the notion that her office amounts to nothing more than 'filing papers'. Her new report, '3 Critical Qualifications the Rockdale Clerk of Courts Needs to Earn Your Vote' establishes a benchmark for citizens who want to elect the candidate best qualified to prepare Rockdale County for the future. Rockdale residents can download a copy of the report at www.RuthForRockdale.com/free-report/. Wilson is the first Rockdale County Clerk of Courts to release a special report of this kind.
Wilson stated, 'It has been my privilege and honor to lead some of the most capable and dedicated employees in the County. Without their commitment to continuous improvement, we could not have succeeded in producing a Clerk of Courts website for the first time ever. That website was the first step in producing the very popular and effective online payment of traffic citations and online access to jury information. If the voters so choose, we will accomplish even more in 2013.' Rockdale residents can view Wilson's 'Promises Made, Promises Kept' video release by going to the 'Meet Ruth' page at www.RuthforRockdale.com.
