We had the chance to sit down with Ty Perry, a sales consultant with Ivory Homes.  He told us, 'The current housing market has nowhere to go but up.  Consumer confidence is the highest it has been in several years.  If you pair that with interest rates at around 3.88%, buyers are finding this an ideal time to purchase a home.  Historically, spring is a busy time for the housing market; Ivory Homes foresees 2012 as being one of the best seasons on record.' He said.

Ty Perry continued to chat with us about the housing market.  He said, 'With the economy recovering, buying a home is no longer scary.  I have talked with many real estate professionals and they say that there is a great feeling in the marketplace.  This positive feeling is two-fold; first homes are actively selling and there are a low number of homes for sale at this time.'  He said with a smile.
