Icelandair U.S. to resume flights from Iceland to Minneapolis

Tue, 24 Apr 2012 11:45:50 EST

Iceland's leading airline, Icelandair, will be resuming its seasonal U.S. flight schedule from Minneapolis to Iceland on May 15, 2012. Flights will depart MSP at 6:30pm operating a daily service to Iceland, which will run through October 16, 2012 – flights from Minneapolis will then resume in spring 2013.

In addition to the Minneapolis flight service, Icelandair's 2012 summer schedule will include the launch of service from its newest gateway, Denver International Airport, on May 11, 2012. Seasonal flights from Washington-Dulles, Toronto, and Halifax will also resume for the summer months.

Due to the increased demand from New York, Icelandair is introducing a second evening flight with up to 10 flights per week from JFK through November 5, 2012. Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle, and Denver with seasonal service from Washington, D.C., Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando Sanford, Halifax and Toronto.

Furthermore, connections through Icelandair's hub at Keflavik International Airport in Iceland are available to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the UK, and Continental Europe.
