Configura Extension Technology (CET) is the basis for CET Designer software and Extensions. CET is based on Parametric Graphical Configuration (PGC), a technology and business model developed by Configura that simplifies the complex selling process for those who specify configurable products. Because product details and rules are built into Extensions, dealerships that sell the product lines can focus on design and specification while 'behind the scenes' the software automatically and accurately calculates the technical information, including quantities, parts numbers and pricing. The software produces photo-realistic renderings, accurate bills of materials and complete installation instructions – without relying on AutoCAD, although the software easily integrates with AutoCAD.
