Telecom Council Member Judges Select 24 New Innovations to Showcase at CTIA WIRELESS 2012

San Jose, Ca, April 16, 2012 - The Telecom Council of Silicon Valley has partnered with CTIA WIRELESS®, held May, 8-10 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana to highlight startup innovation at the show. The Telecom Council Showcase, located at booth 4051 in the Emerging Technology Zone, will ensure that CTIA WIRELESS attendees leave the show having seen new products, tried new services, heard new ideas, and met new companies that are pushing the envelope of the wireless industry.

24 young companies were chosen to be highlighted in the showcase from 100s of applications by a panel of Telecom Council member judges from Qualcomm, Docomo, BT, HTC, Vodafone, China Mobile, Nvidia, and more. The companies selected to be included were judged on standard Telecom Council criteria – innovation, momentum, viability, and management.
In addition to highlighting these innovations on the show floor, showcasing companies will be presenting live on the stage in CTIA World on 5/8 from 3pm – 4:15pm and 5/9 12:30 - 1:30pm.

The technologies being highlighted in the Innovation Showcase vary – from antennae and Wi-Fi offload solutions to location-based services and touch-screen friendly gloves. Participating companies include:
