JERICHO, NY, February 8, 2012, GreenCell, Inc. (OTCBB: GCLL) announced earlier this week they have begun parallel development on a new type of automotive oxygen sensor that is non-precious metal based. The units should give higher response to the automotive computer (ECM).
 
The units, based upon the Company's UltraTemp-C product, will be designed to give automotive computers (ECM) a higher response. The units will also be produced at a lower cost over traditional O2 sensors. Prototypes of the units are currently being fabricated and are being compared to conventional sensors.
 
SenCer Inc., GreenCells joint venture partner, has field test data supporting UltraTemp's remarkable thermal properties and the bonding relationship with engineered oxide, conductive metals and ceramics coatings. SenCer can now develop devices based upon this new technology in the oxygen sensing (automotive and medical markets).
