Guest Blogger Program

We are looking for guest bloggers for WDNG.net. If you feel that you have something of interest to say about a particular topic and are willing to commit to submiting a minimum of one article per week, please contact our Webmaster. The initial contact should include a brief introduction and a description of the intended content of the proposed blog.

Guidelines: Articles that appear on this site must be well-written, generally positive, should reflect high journalistic standards, and reflect well on WDNG News Talk 14.50 and its staff. Articles should be between 300 and 1,000 words (500 words are recommended). Embedded videos, such as those from YouTube.com, are encouraged as long as they are relevant to the topi.c All submissions must be informative and of interest to our readers and listeners. This program is not intended to primarily act as an advertising medium -- even though incidental references may be made to a business or practice. A bio, which will appear on the guest bloggers page may reference a business and/or provide a link to a website. The contact link on that page can either be a link to the bloggers website or their e-mail address. Bloggers who do not regularly submit articles or fail to follow these guidelines will no longer be eligible to participate in this program.

Upon acceptance, a guest blogger will be required to submit a suitable personal photo, a introductory paragraph, which will appear on their blog page, their first blog articele, and a proposed title for their blog. Once their blog site is created, they will be given log in information for the guest blogger management site.

While our intent is not to alter guest blog articles in any way, we reserve the right to edit or delete articles that do not meet the guidelines discussed above. All articles will be submitted immediately to the major blog search engines for indexing.

Why be a guest blogger? Maintaining a WDNG.net guest blog is a way to establish your expertise and contribute to the community. It is also a way to increase the credibility of your existing website. Once you begin regularly submitting blogs, your guest blog site will quickly gain authority for the topics, which you discuss. Provided that these are relevant to the content to your primary website and your guest blog contains a link back to that site, you should experience an improvement of your search engine page ranking for your site. We also encourage you to place a backlink to WDNG.net site. This helps you while you are providing content for us.
