Arrests have been made in connections with Saturday night shootings in Auburn University Heights complex. The shooting spree started in a apartment complex in Auburn rumored over a female. Six people were shot, including Auburn football players who were killed, Edward Christian, LaDarious Phillips and Demario Pitts.
Investigators say that Jeremy Thomas, 18 years old was seen fleeing the scene with Desmonte Leonard, 22 years old. Leonard is facing a three capital murder charge in this case.
On Sunday, Gabriel Thomas, 41 years old is being charged with one count of hindering prosecution in the first degree. Thomas was transported to Montgomery County Detention Center under a 15,000 bond.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Desmonte Leonard to come forth. There is a 10,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Leonard.
