There is still no identification for the body found in the missing Shelby Co. woman's car found at the bottom of a Leed's quarry earlier this week.
The Jefferson County Coroner's office said it will most likely be Monday until the identity is released. Carrie Elaine Gentry, a Chelsea resident, has been missing since March 29. Her Lexus SUV was found submerged in 40 ft. of water, and authorities believe foul play was involved. Paula Sevier, a spokeswoman for Gentry's organization, Tender Mercies Ministry, issued the following statement Friday. "Ms. Gentry's family and friends continue to wait for conclusive identification of the body found in Ms. Gentry's car. They are praying for Sheriff Curry and his team as they take the necessary steps to do things properly and in order. Much of life involves waiting."
