The Gadsden Police Department says they are looking for the suspect in connection to a robbery at knifepoint. According to Captain Bobby Jackson with Gadsden PD, around 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a 47-year-old female was robbed in the parking lot of Burke's Outlet at 324 East Meighan Boulevard. The victim says she was sitting in her vehicle when a black male reached through her window with a knife and demanded money. She gave him her wallet and he fled to a gray Nissan Maxima and drove away. The suspect is described as 5'6, approximately 150 lbs., medium complexion, between 20-25 years old and was wearing jeans and a long sleeve white shirt. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Gadsden Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit at (256) 549-4630.
