Jacksonville State University and the Calhoun County school system plan to prepare outdoor lab classes.
Calhoun County schools own about 7 acres of land near their career technology center, which is the house of over 200 species. The school system wants to hold science classes with the assistance of JSU professors.
Logistics are still in the works and will hopefully be worked out before school starts this upcoming year.
