The body of a nude man was found in a truck turned upside down in the driveway of a West Jefferson County home this morning. The Jefferson County Sheriff's department said they received a call around 11:40 a.m. to the 2100 Block of Alliance Road on a traffic accident. State Troopers were dispatched to the scene because the Sheriff's department no longer works traffic accidents. Birmingport Fire Department who also responded to the scene notified the Sheriff's department there was a fatality and it was a crime scene.
When Deputies arrived on the scene they found the body of a nude man inside an upside down truck in the drive way of the home. The truck was registered to the address where it was found.
The man inside the truck has not been identified. Deputies do not know how the truck ended up upside down. The incident is under investigation.
