The step mother and grandmother of Savannah Hardin are back in court. Jessica Hardin’s attorney is asking the judge to get access to Savannah Hardin’s records from Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Joyce Garrard, Savannah’s grandmother, is being charged with capital murder for the death of her granddaughter. Investigators say Garrard made her granddaughter run for three hours for punishment for eating a candy bar. Hardin is being charged with felony murder for not stopping Savannah from running to death.
