Expect some relief from traffic problems in Bessemer sometime today. The southbound lanes of I-20/59 are scheduled to re-open sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. ALDOT says the rebuilding project is almost complete on about a two mile stretch of the highway. This will complete a $9.5-million project to rebuild a stretch of the north and southbound lanes in Bessemer.
