Bama forces game 3!!!
On June 5, 2012, Alabama was strong versus the Sooners at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was a game that the Tide knew they had to win in order to stay in contention for the title. OK scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the first inning, but UA came back with a vengeance. With a couple of walks and a fielder’s error, Jackie Traina hit’s a double in the center gap and clears the bases giving UA a 4-1 lead in the second inning. She also struck out six batters to give herself an all around great game. OK pitcher Ricketts has a new record of six hit by pitches thrown. The Tide took advantage of them in the fourth as Locke hits a double to the wall left field wall to score two more runs. Alabama wins the game 8-1 as they will play tonight for the title. We will see if the Tide has what it takes to become WCWS Champions tonight at 7p.m. against Oklahoma.
