A portion of Anniston Street in Weaver, just south of City Hall, is closed for at least part of today.
The portion of the street from First Baptist Church to Lindahl’s Small Engine Repair will be closed while work crews replace a pipe and repave the area where the pipe was buried, said Jody Stephens, water clerk for Weaver’s city government.
Stephens said another government agency informed the city Tuesday that the road would be closed for the repair today. She said city officials expected the road to be closed for only part of the day, and did not know when the work was expected to be completed.
