Three Arkansas football players have been arrested and charged with burglary. Maudrecus Humphrey, Andrew Peterson and Marquel Wade were arrested Saturday and charged with burglarizing dorm rooms. Humphrey is the son of former University of Alabama football player Bobby Humphrey.
University of Arkansas Police arrested them after surveillance video showed the football players waking into dorm rooms where items had been reported stolen. A police report showed the three stole laptops, cash, DVD's and textbooks from University dorm rooms May 1st over the next seven days.
Bobby Humphrey has released this statement: "We have no comment at this time. We are still trying to gather the facts. I appreciate all the family and friend support Barbara and I have received over the past 4 hours. It's comforting to know that people are praying for us. Hopefully I will be able to make a comment soon."
