Anniston Police have arrested 21-year-old Carey Lamont Richardson of Oxford for a shooting that happened on April 29, 2012. He is charged with Attempted Murder, First Degree Assault, Menacing, and Third Degree Trespass. The shooting happened at a convenience store on Noble Street on that Sunday afternoon. A 38-year-old female was wounded. She had been shot in the chest. Police say the woman was treated at UAB and released this week. Also charged in the case is Michael Anthony Brown. The 23 year old Anniston man was arrested for First Degree Assault Sunday night. The investigation continues.
