A 35 year old man died late Saturday night after his mobile home caught fire on Red Mountain Road near the Gallant community just outside of Attala. The Etowah County Sheriff's Department said they received a 911 call shortly before midnight. The victims 11 year old son was also inside the home...he escaped unharmed. The Etowah County Arson Task Force is investigating the fire.
