A jury has convicted former Auburn football player Antonio Goodwin of first-degree robbery.
The jurors in Lee County deliberated for about 45 minutes before returning to the courtroom Friday.
First-degree robbery is a Class A felony that carries a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.
Lee County Circuit Judge Christopher Hughes set the sentencing for June.
Goodwin is the first of four former Auburn players standing trial on first-degree robbery charges in an armed home invasion in March 2011.
He watched quietly with hands clasped behind him as the verdict was read.
His parents sat silently two rows back.
Attorneys presented closing arguments after the defense opted not to call Auburn coach Gene Chizik and associate head coach Trooper Taylor as witnesses.
