Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from the State Cattle Ranch.
The Alabama Department of Corrections said Timothy Richards was discovered missing at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday. He is serving a life sentence for a murder in Walker County.
Richards is described as a white male, 6 foot 4 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds, blue eyes and blonde hair. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force is assisting with locating and apprehending Richards.
