The University of Alabama is moving forward to find a new president. An advisory committee has been named to begin that search. UA system chancellor Robert Witt announced the 23 member committee. Witt says it includes professors and faculty from the Tuscaloosa campus- and also community members and business owners from across the state. The organizational meeting of the search advisory committee will be announced later this month. Witt was UA president before the took the chancellor post.
