Slow going possible on Hwy 280 beginning Monday, April 9. At 9:30AM, a utility company will install a new water line in the turn lane on US 280 westbound, between the Grandview Parkway and Perimeter Park South. This work will require the US 280 westbound outside (right) turn lane at Grandview Parkway to be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Utility operation to improve Utility service to the area.
For additional road closure information, visit www.dot.state.al.us.
