A father and his adult daughter were arrested Tuesday night for breaking into a home to make meth. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says 40 year old Jeffery Marshall of Birmingham and 18 year old Amber Marshall are charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Deputies responded to an anonymous report of a burglary in progress at a house in the 1000 block of Sycamore Street in the Minor Community. Two suspects escaped through windows and ran from the scene. Jeffery Marshall and Amber Marshall were taken into custody. While inside the house, deputies discovered meth labs and meth. Investigators say Amber Marshall stated that she and her father had just finished cooking the meth when Deputies arrived. The suspects who ran from the scene have been identified and Deputies say warrants will be issued for their arrest
