Mike Davis has confirmed that he has been fired from his job as UAB's head basketball coach.
Davis held the position for the last 6 years. The Blazers went 15-16 this year.
Davis stated that this is a tough time and that he needs to take care of his family. He says he will respond about the termination at a later time.
A news conference will be held by UAB at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
