Kevin Campbell, the fugitive wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, has been captured in Baldwin County. According to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, Campbell was arrested on George Younce Road by the Foley Police Department this evening. Baldwin had been on the run since Feb. 21 when he fled from law enforcement after a traffic stop in Jefferson County. It is believed he fled into Blount County before directing his route South to a relatives home in Baldwin County. Campbell was initially wanted for Theft of Property 1st Degree, Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Burglary 3rd Degree, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree. More charges are pending.
