Barber Motorsports Park and ZOOM Motorsports have announced that former Crimson Tide and Green Bay Packers quarterback Bart Starr will be this year's Grand Marshal for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented March 30 - April 1. Starr will begin the race by saying the famous words, "Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines!" He will also wave the green flag to indicate the start of the 90-lap competition. During his record-setting seasons as the starting quarterback for Green Bay, Starr guided the team to an unprecedented five NFL titles and two Super Bowl championships, earning Most Valuable Player honors during Super Bowls I and II.
