Gadsden police have an extra officer at Emma Sansom Middle School after a 14-year-old 7th grader or someone logged in under his Facebook name posted racially-charged threats Wednesday night.
The comments, which are posted to the right of this story, include posts about taking a gun and bombs to the school.
Although the investigation is ongoing and no one is in custody, police believe there is no danger to the students or anyone at the school. "We see no danger in the immediate future, and we are thoroughly investigating this incident," said Gadsden Police Captain Paul Cody.
According to school officials, police will be positioned at the school Friday.
