The Alabama football team wrapped up its final preparations for top-ranked Notre Dame with a two hour practice, Saturday afternoon at Barry University. The Crimson Tide will hold a walk-thru at Sun Life Stadium on Sunday. "I would like to thank the Orange Bowl committee and everybody here in South Florida for the great hospitality that they have provided our team," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said. "As a team we certainly embrace the challenges that every season brings. We are here to try and take advantage of a great opportunity that the players have created for themselves." Alabama got its day started once again in front of the cameras, this time at the BCS Championship Media Day. The whole team and coaching staff participated at the event that was held at the site of the championship game. The Tide will meet the Irish in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Monday, Jan. 7, to determine the national champion. ESPN will carry the matchup with Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit calling the action and Tom Rinaldi and Heather Cox reporting from the sideline.
