The Red Cross is in major need of blood donations because of Sandy. About 300 blood drives had to be canceled because of the storm. Because of the missed blood drives, more than 9,000 blood and platelet donations across 14 states did not take place. The Red Cross says that even more cancellations are expected because of damage and power outages, so they are asking for your help. Individuals who are over the age of 17, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in good general health can donate blood. To find the closest donation center, visit www.redcross.org
I'm asking anyone that can to please help! God Bless!!!!
