A Calhoun County jury has returned a guilty verdict in the murder case Robert Jenkins. Jurors agreed the Montgomery man shot and killed Marcus Marks last March. His body was found with two gun shots to the back in an apartment in the 200 block of E.22 St after what was described,at the time, as a drive-by shooting. Jenkins was in Anniston for a party, an event the victim also attended. According District Attorney Brian McVeigh, witnesses testified that the shooting took place as the victim's girlfriend moved out his home. McVeigh says Jenkins, using a .9mm rifle shot an unarmed Marks. District Attorney Brian McVeigh says sentencing is set for October 5th.
