A coach at Leeds High School has been arrested after police say he sent sexually explicit text messages to a female student.
Curtis Lloyd, 32, is charged with a school employee having sex with a student under the age of 19, a misdemeanor. Police Chief Byron Jackson said there is no indication of physical contact.
Lloyd turned himself into authorities Friday and was later release from jail on $6,000 bond. He is on administrative leave from his job.
No other information was immediately available.
