The victim killed in a fatal crash between an all terrain vehicle and an 18-wheeler is being identified.
Authorities say 25-year-old Brandon Davis Bracknell, a Deatsville resident, was killed when his ATV collided with a commercial vehicle driven by John Mason, Jr. 54, of Wetumpka. Mason was not injured in the collision. The incident occurred just before 12:15pm Monday on AL Hwy. 143 just north of Autauga County Road 68. That's approximately 15 minles north of Prattville. Alabama State Troopers say Hwy. 143 was closed while crews worked the scene, but the roadway reopened to traffic around 2:30pm. The reason for the crash is not immediately known. An investigation is ongoing
