More than two dozen vehicle break-ins were reported to Gadsden police on Monday, June 25. Callers began reporting the break-ins to Gadsden police on Monday morning as people were first waking up, Captain Regina May with GPD said. As of 2:45 p.m. Monday, approximately 25 incidents had been reported. The areas hit included Lookout Mountain and the Country Club area of Gadsden, according to May. Police are expected to release more details on the multiple car break-ins on Tuesday.
