The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested and charged a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old with robbery. After receiving a call about teens fighting in the 1100 block of Florentine Circle around 10 p.m. on Thursday night, the 14-year-old victim told deputies that he had been ambushed by four teens he knew from school in the parking lot of Town and Country Apartments. He stated that one had pointed a shotgun at him while the others had tried to fight him. During the fight, he said one of the suspects grabbed him from behind, went through his pockets and took his money. Eventually, the victim broke free and ran to his aunt's apartment where he and his 16-year-old sister were staying for the night. Two of the suspects came to the apartment and knocked on the door. When the sister answered the door, one suspect allegedly pointed the shotgun at her and punched her in the face. The other suspect tried to fight the 14-year-old before both suspects ran away. Deputies were given a description of the suspects and found two people walking on Old Springville Road near Huffman High School that matched the description. One of the suspects, the 16-year-old, was found with a shotgun hidden in his pants. Both suspects were identified by the victims as their attackers. The 16-year-old has been charged as an adult with 1st degree robbery and is being held in the Jefferson County Jail. The 13-year-old was taken to the Jefferson County Youth Detention Center on the same charge
