The Gadsden Police Department says they have charged two men with robbery after they allegedly stole $2.
According to Captain Regina May, a 17-year-old male and his 17-year-old girlfriend stopped at the Bama Quick Stop at 1401 East Broad Street to buy a drink around 9 p.m. on May 11 of this year. They were then followed to their car and robbed of $2 at gunpoint.
Warrants were obtained for 22-year-old Jeremy Dewayne Willis and 18-year-old Daven Robert Haley after an investigation. Both men are still at large, though Willis is out of jail on bond for a different third degree robbery charge. A mug shot for Haley was not available on the Etowah County Sheriff's Office website.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either suspect is urged to contact the Gadsden Police Department at 256-549-4578.
