Two suspects are in custody after a carjacking turned to murder in Center Point. Jeremy Dewayne Bell, 18 years old, and Demario Jones, 23 years old, face capital murder charges in connections with the carjacking and shooting of Larrice Bryant
Investigators say that Bryant and his father were going to buy drugs from Bell and Jones. Both Bryant and his father were in a truck, when the suspects carjacked the vehicle and Bryant’s father hopped out of the truck. While in the vehicle, Bryant shot one of the suspects in the hand, which caused the suspects to kill him.
Both Jones and Bell are being held at Jefferson County Jail under no bond with charges of capital murder.
